How often some Facebook page reminded you that you had just missed your best friend's birthday, mother's day or somebody's wedding anniversary? In my case, it happened more than often, as somehow my memory tends to fail when I get confronted with an endless number of dates to remember. When most of your nearest and dearest live abroad, sending the belated wishes by regular post is automatically out of the question. What if you are not skilled enough to design an e-card or the mass-market offer of online cards is just not up to your liking? You love fashion, interior design, and beautiful things, Paperless Post may be your favorite place as it is an online heaven for picky aesthetes, hungrily searching for stylishly designed holiday cards, wedding invitations, notes and stationary.
I first used Paperless Post in 2015. As a person daily involved in the interior design and fashion, I have a soft spot for beautiful cards and stationery, and I collect them with great passion. What I like the most about Paperless Post is the illusion of real experience that I thought was possible to experience only sending the physical greeting card or a hand-written letter. When I was choosing the right font on the note, selecting a perfect color of the envelope and its lining and finding the matching stamp, all those possibilities made me think I was not sending a digital card but something uniquely personal.
One of my favorite things on this website are Designer Collections. As you can see below, I selected some examples of my very favorites. I love Charlotte Olympia's invitations designed with a vibe of a timeless party chic. Derek Blasberg, beloved Peter Pan of the fashion world, surprises me with his modern, catchy and minimalist invitations and announcements. Liberty London Fabrics, known for their one of a kind floral patterns, make the online correspondence vivaciously fashionable. Finally, you don't need a special occasion to surprise any fashion-forward friend with Oscar de la Renta's elegant and stylishly entertaining invitations.
