As the first day of Summer is already behind us, I am dreaming only of a sunny and breezy next few months. This time I got inspired by a story I heard listening to Grace Coddington's recording of her own memoir. What a delight!! In one of the chapters, she mentioned a photo shoot in 1982 for the American Vogue. Bruce Webber, one of the most human and charming and immensely dog-loving photographers alive, had a vision of the fashion photo story inspired by Andrew Wyeth's washed-out pastel colors shot on Mohegan Island, Maine. A woman wearing a scarf, walking towards the lake, indeed is looking as if taken directly from Wyeth's paintings. For those who do not know his work, please check it out.

I thought this photo of Gisele Bundchen for British Vogue, June 2002, shot by Corinne Day was a great way to celebrate 2014 World Cup. Who can represent Brazilian sense of style better than her?!? One more interesting thing, as the picture shows, sneakers with red carpet gown were pioneering back in 2002. Fashion loves to repeats itself.

This Summer, the biggest image consulting's research project is how to find a perfect top and Summer bag that can be light, fit everything and just add that effortless "I don't care but I know what's cool" vibe. Zamrie is a Chicago based boutique which is on my top ten list of independent stores to visit while visiting my best friend in Chicago;)))

One more Chicago based store to visit, for all of us who like uniqueness and the spirit of vintage around the house, is P.O.S.H where you find for example Vintage French Canister Set or a beautiful Water Pitcher from Grand Hotel in New York and you feel like Wes Anderson could be a frequent visitor here as well.
