As promised, more updates on fashion weeks. This time I wanted to share some street style photography from London Fashion Week SS17. (Courtesy of
Farfetch). In last few years, the clothes of fashion week attendees are very often stealing the show. There is so much creativity, freedom, the individuality that for me it is almost more inspiring than some of the shows.
London Fashion Week goers did not disappoint, which seems to confirm the fact that London is the uncrowned capital street style. To my joy, there were so many colorful dresses. The lengths are significantly longer. Layering is back with dresses over pants, dresses worn with long sleeve blouses, long coats over jeans. There were lots of bright uber high heels. However, the item of the day were bags: vintage, modern, multi-colorful, classic, DIY... In general, the streets of London were flooded with patterns, florals, denim and lots of fashion creativity.
