MOOD BOARD FOR THE TIME OF CHANGES
I have been missing in action for too long as the month of June is really a big transition time for me. In two weeks I am going to leave NYC and embark on a 3-month journey to re-discover the possibilities of my creative endeavors and magic of the European Summer. Change is scary as it advertises itself with multiple levels of fear of the unknown. Change is also exciting as it opens the door to endless opportunities. This is also the first time in years I will have a break from the 9-5 job for such a long time. How do I cope with stress surrounding my decisions? Of course, as always, I seek inspirations, which magically sooth the pain of the unknown future. This time, I wanted to share with you 6 things that get me going without too many sleepless nights in the period of intensive brainstorming.

1. Josep Moncada -  This Spanish artist's seductive images of summer, water, underwater and beach delights look like real life photography and take me away to the worry-free zone just when I need it. As change is the motive of the moment, his personal story is very inspiring. At the age of 27, he decided to quit the world of accounting for the magical land of art! Way to go Josep!

2. Alessandro Michele - The new creative director of Gucci is a real Little Prince of the fashion world. I am completely in love with his creativity, Instagram's profile and out-of-this-world ideas. (Please watch this fantastic interview of Tim Blanks' with Alessandro  for BOF) Again, a fascinating fact about Alessandro's success is that it came after 13 years, at the moment when he wanted to give up and quit.

3. An Innocent Fashion by R.J. Hernandez - How to make it in the fashion magazine world? A combination of Bell Jar and Devil Wears Prada... Say no more, I am hooked. The new travel must-read for all the fashion inspired readers, out on July 5, 2016.

4. Assembly New York - one of my favorite Lower Eastside shopping destinations. This time inspired me with a smoking Sinead O'Connor t-shirt. However, the store in itself is a pure downtown delight.

5. Julie Christie - She has been on my mind for ages, as one of the fashion icons which really inspire me. It is finally going to happen this summer, she will be described and worshiped on this blog. Before that happens, I highly recommend watching two of her movies "Darling" and "Don't Look Now," as they are amazing vintage fashion style inspirations.

6. Keepsake, The Other Side Dress - As in 3 weeks time I will be celebrating the wedding of one of my closest friends, the significant achievement is that finally yesterday, I found "the dress." As always my infatuation with Australian fashion design proved to be the right direction to follow. I am more than excited that my 3-month search for the perfect dress has been accomplished and entire blog post will be devoted to designer's dresses for special occasions which will help you stand out of the crowd and without going broke.

Dear Readers, to paraphrase the long-forgotten song by the Osbourne family, that somehow just came back to me, we are all going through changes. Don't oppose them, go with the flow and let luck be on our side! Time to let dreams take control!
