I envy those who in the middle of January already have a plan on what clothes they want to buy for their Spring break getaway, Summer in Greece or just anything that is strictly related to clear weather and temperatures that make us think about perfectly chilled rosé. My shopping needs during the first two months of the year are very minimal and based on two factors: the actual high need of comfort and warmth and contrasting obsession with a dreamy splurge that will make me feel safe and happy on a particularly gloomy sunless day. In case you are feeling lost when it comes to your fashion cravings. Lately, I have prepared a perfect list that would not ruin your budget and hopefully will make you discover exciting new brands and the designers behind them from various corners of the world.

Camo Colt Runner Sneaker, Rose RankinKalypso Ring, PradelleMaison Louis Marie, Perfume

If I ended up on the desert island in February, I would be happy with the following 3 things.  Firstly, I am completely obsessed with Rose Rankin's sneakers. They are hand-made in Portugal. The designer grew up in Ireland, and she has been obsessed with sneakers as long as she can remember. The end result: a perfect mixture of retro and super modern minimal chic!

First time I had a pleasure to test Maison Louis Marie's perfume was last December at one of my favorite stores in downtown NY, Assembly New York. This fragrance has been positively haunting me since then There is something elusive, addictive and unforgettable about it and I think I will remain a life-long long fan.

A ring is my favorite piece of jewelry, especially if it is as delicate and almost invisibly beautiful as the Kalypso Ring from the Greek-Polish jewelry brand Pradelle. What makes it magic is the unique process of transforming all kinds of flowers into high-quality jewelry.

Pretty in White and Blue

Winter can be positively white and blue! Especially if those two different clutches tickle your fancy: white hand-made GEO PRISM CLUTCH from my very favorite Austin-based brand, S.T.E.F. and the blue artisan embroidered bag by J.Won, whose message should be probably shared with only the very significant others.

Hush Warsaw, an online boutique with a great selection of the emerging Polish designers, introduced me to this jumper from Berenika Czarnota, which brings to my mind Audrey Hepburn's winter vacationing in the movie Charade. Ski- style inspired attracts compliments for the perfect combination of all shades of blue.

Finally, time for a local pick, Don't Worry Baby  is a Brooklyn-based brand following principles of slow fashion. What matters is quality, a celebration of the garment and its uniqueness. This hand painted silk scarf can take you from a plane to the beach or just be your best friend on a winter day when you are stuck inside.

We don't need a lot to be stylish and happy in February! Please share your minimalist fashion choices for winter 2016!
