Natalie Daemi is a New York City-based designer of wedding and evening gowns. She caught my attention because she donates a portion of her proceeds to Restore NYC, an organization which helps victims of human trafficking. Natalie, not only has a big passion for charity, but she creates fabulous bespoke gowns. I am not a big fan of wedding couture. However, her evening wear has won my heart instantly. I especially like the long, smoking with super alluring silk-mesh top and classic black trousers, so YSL-like! However, those clothes are made for a busy city girl who enjoys crossing the lines between men and women's style and is not afraid to embrace her femininity and be seductive at the same time. I am looking so forward to an occasion to wear that outfit as it is indeed a fabulous fashion statement for the upcoming holiday season.
I am so proud that I found another Polish magazine, which looks and reads: fantastic. It is available both in English and Polish. I love stylish food photography, and I am super happy that there are more and more magazines online that show many different aspects of "food culture." Thanks to "Usta," I learned so much about the culinary map of Poland and sometimes I just could not believe that those restaurants and coffee shops were actually in Warsaw or Poznan not in Amsterdam or Paris. Well done and fingers crossed for enduring success and conquering all the international markets!!! Yes, Polish food can taste and look amazing, for those who ever doubt that:)
I get to know Donald Robertson through his inspiring Instagram account (
@drawbertson), It is a lively universe inhabited by some fair-haired twin toddlers, various dogs, lots of colorful art,
Mitford - The Fashionable Giraffe (One of my favorite illustrated fashion satires of 2015) and many other characters. Robertson is a real Renaissance man, being one of the original founders of MAC Cosmetics, a creative director of some of the most famous fashion magazines, an artist, and an illustrator. As a kid, I was a big fan of puffy stickers because in Poland they were so hard to find. I am glad that they are allowed to be enjoyed by adults as well. The cool stickers are the fruit of cooperation between Robertson and Tiny E, and you don't have to be ashamed for liking them. Just enjoy sticking them all over your stuff, as this is a guilt-free fun for ages 13+!
First, we share the same name, I just spell mine with "i" (Ania). Second, I am completely in awe of Anja Niemi's photography. I think it has so many cultural and social references. The use of colors is so innovative and modern. In one of the interviews, she said:
"Life is filled with moments when humor blends into tragedy and ugliness into perfection, and I find it interesting that we often seem to be more comfortable with them apart. It´s easier to just turn your head away from something that is purely morbid or tragic, than if there is something humorous or beautiful about it. The attraction is uncomfortable and fascinating." Look out for this artist, as she is taking the fashion world by storm.
I saw this ring, on the finger of one of my favorite fashion muses, Dree Hemingway, a great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway. The style is just passed from generation to generation in this family. Dree is the face of the current campaign of ManiaMania, jewelry brand created by Australian art director and Stylist, Melanie Kamsler and Tamila Purvis. Another Australian brand I have a massive crush on. Hopefully one day I will visit that sunny and creativity bursting country.

As nights become longer and the days get shorter, music plays a more significant role in uplifting our spirits. This song will make you wake up at 4 a.m. and run for an hour around the park with a smile on your face. It can energize you the only unique way Colombian electro band can. Winter should be about staying warm and finding comfort in music, movies, and interiors of our homes. So, let's do it!
Palomino Jewelry, a brand based in my beloved Brooklyn is inspired by nature and simplicity. Katie, self-taught artist creates her pieces always with some story in mind. Looking at this necklace made of the recycled glass beads from Java and hand-painted leather and feathers, makes me wonder what adventures must be associated with it.
Chia is so right for us! I just learned that not only we can eat it, but we can also pamper our skin with it. As an organic-loving, healthy-food obsessed maniac, count me in! I want to try this creamy chia-based cleanser this winter.
I have been a devoted fan of John Cleese since I wrote my Master thesis on the subject of his hilarious TV show "Fawlty Towers." (Yes, I was dying from laughter all the time I was writing it: and years later I still love this show) This autobiography gives the readers insight into "dark" sides of Mr. Cleese's personality. He is not only one of the funniest British man alive but also such a gifted storyteller, psychology-lover, and, as I have just found out, a talented writer. I laughed to tears when I was reading about the "rabbit accident" (You need to read this book if only for this chapter) At the same time, I felt deeply moved by his honest accounts of complicated emotional relationship with his mother. For all of those who are planning to write an autobiography, as almost every celebrity or an aspiring pop star in America), this is an excellent guideline on how to do it with style and charm.
Last but not least, as winter landscapes with no snow can be quite a dreary perspective for the next few months, wall tapestry can make your room feel like an enchanted forest, Moroccan coffee shop, or your own private art gallery. Just check out
different artists from Society 6 and their take on this subject. Who says that walls are just for paintings if this tapestry can constitute your unique piece of art?
November is a transition month which can be capricious, tormenting us with rainy weather and continuous mood swings, so let's keep inspiring each other!!! Feel free to share your November inspirations with me!!!
