After spending hours looking for unique fashion pieces for this fall, I came to the conclusion that skirts are this season most inspiring accessory. Therefore, this post will be devoted to mastering the skills of styling embroidered skirts.

Embroidery is a prominent element of FW15 collections. The trend is deeply rooted in the bohemian vibe of the seventies, Victorian fixation with lavishly embroidered designs and in its most opulent form with baroque. As embroidery in all its richness of colors and patterns is a very prominent fashion statement. In case we are not into very dramatic outfits, the easiest styling advice is to pair a skirt with simple, simple tops. However, it depends on the occasion we would like to wear our embroidered skirt for. In this post, I would like to share 5 different ways to wear the embroidered skirt of your choice.

One of my favorite skirts this season is this black mini A-line skirt with psychedelic looking woman's face appliqué on a black wool background. The designer behind this skirt, Vivi Ponti used to work for Cavalli, and definitely, the fun vibe of that job experience stayed with him. If you match this skirt with a simple black polo neck sweater, it may be a great office outfit. Believe me, everybody will gaze in awe at this simple but fun outfit.

In my search for a perfect midi skirt for the fall, I came up with this navy jacquard full skirt with gorgeous embroidered birds. This is quite a holiday/special occasion piece. However, if you like me like adding extra blink to a regular weekday, pair it with a classic white shirt or a fitted navy top. It's good to turn heads once in a while! This skirt is a perfect tool to accentuate your waist, and it will look great with simple black stilettos or Mary Janes.
The Ukrainian designer Anna K (Check out the story of her brand in The Business of Fashion) walked into the fashion world when she was just sixteen, now her clothes are being worn by fashion editors all over the world. I chose that skirt because it is a good reminder of an inner child in all of us. When it is paired with a classic silk blouse in a toned color like navy, it not only shows your eye for street fashion trends but also builds a sophisticated look.

When I saw this embroidered mini skirt from H&M, I immediately thought it would be a great going out piece. Just match it with some sexy black lace top and opaque tights and the world is your oyster!

Purple is one of my favorite fall colors, regardless of the trends. This set shows how we can break the richness of patterns and colors of the A-line knee skirt with a sophisticated silk top in the same color family. Both the blouse and the skirt create a monochromatic look, which is very elegant.

When I finished this post, I looked into my closet. It used to be 80% dresses but now it is definitely 80% skirts, and I am excited about unlimited possibilities of mixing and matching!
