As August has just started, planning fall/winter wardrobe is officially in order. September issues of fashion magazines can cause quite a stir in our heads with all the tempting and incredibly looking new trends. In order to avoid major stress and a hole in your vacation-damaged budgets, I decided to use my fashion consultant skills to safely walk you through 3 major trends of Fall/Winter 2015: fringe, lace and folk inspirations.
When in doubt how to incorporate a new trend into your style, it is always useful to have a great reference point, a fashion icon who was/is famous for embracing a certain fashion style at a master level. I made it easy for you and created mood boards inspired by fashion queens with whose guidance you will never get lost in a jungle of style.

The personal style of Pam and Gela embraces the free spirit of California, a great vibe of a modern girl who loves music festivals but also knows how to wear unique clothes that represent her during the regular working hours and at a red carpet event. In order to have fun with this trend, just add fringe to everything in your wardrobe: fringe dress, fringe suede jacket, fringe stilettos and feel the wild west in a way a modern city woman would!

Thanks to Barbara Hulanicki's now legendary London store BIBA, fast fashion brands like Zara and Topshop could have been created many years later. Her personal style was inspiring for thousands of British girls and the interiors of her store were photographed by many fashion magazines.
This trend is trans-seasonal; we can start buying folk and bohemian inspired clothing now and wear it all the way through the winter, pairing them with long warm cardigans or wool coats. From light as a feather floral dresses, gypsy style infused peasant blouses, stylish silk bow blouses with hippie manifestos of love and peace to Native American ponchos with a modern twist; we can be free-spirited in our folk inspired clothing for many different occasions.

This picture of Elizabeth Taylor reminds me of her magnetism based on innocence and strong femininity. Lace, for FW15, jumps to the wild side. It's vibrant, colorful, mixture of style that could be described as an informal meeting between Marie Antoinette and Vivienne Westwood. From street fashion inspired lace sweatshirts, long, dramatic black lace skirts, embroidered lace heels to bright lace jackets. Just be brave, wear it from day to night and don't be afraid to go for opulent, interesting colors and contrasts!
