Weekend Inspirations

September is here and it's time for new inspirations that will cheer us up as we are slowly parting ways with Summer and looking around for what's new and inspiring in the coming Fall.

Voice that will lead me through the colors of fall is Laura Welsh. Again, thanks to Songza, I discovered an artist who deserves much more popular recognition, her song Cold Front brings back all amazing inspirations from artists like Prince, Kate Bush and Laura brings something personal to that mix, as her voice is truly unique.

Unisex t-shirts with all sort of messages have been in fashion spotlight for some time; no wonder famous French boutique decided to honor the underground spirit of rock with their latest collection of t-shirt inspired by the covers of Sonic Youth albums.

I always look for local fashion inspirations and this time, two great finds modern, pleated pants that can be both formal if paired with nice blouse or jacket or fun if matched with the t-shirt from one of my favorite Brooklyn based store MEG.

The second fall accessory that I have been obsessing about for some time is the mix of jockey and baseball hat that looks like is going to be a major trend this fall and winter. I found a super cute one in Greenpoint, Brooklyn based fashion gem In God We Trust.
