In 2014, for the first time, backpacks successfully claimed their status of fashionable accessory. It was really surprising for me, as for years I associated them with mountain climbing, high school, going to the gym and bicycle adventures. My imagination just could not match them with designer's dresses or smart skirts.
However, this Spring backpacks of many forms, textures, materials and colors were officially invited to the numerous pages of fashion magazines and now we can see them being offered by high-end design stores like Hermes, as well as fast fashion joints like Forever 21. From official office environments to red carpet events, there are backpacks for all occasions and this season they will not get you in troubles with the fashion police.
What I wanted to share in this post are backpacks for casual weekend or after work activities. If you like running errands for hours in the city, carrying your laptop and absolutely everything you might need during the day, such backpack may be a nice alternative to a heavy weekender. Trust me your arms will thank you for that!
