PERFECT NYC WEEKEND GUIDE

This Saturday really spoiled all New Yorkers with Summer-like weather, all flowers and trees in pastel bloom and trees lushly green. Everybody was out and ready to discover the city and take advantage of the sun. Following this blog's weekend tradition, I decided to list some NYC weekend essentials that we can enjoy all Spring and Summer long.

If you are looking for some music inspiration not from your the Top 100 Playlist, the album Ramona Lisa "Arcadia" with enchanting melodies and dark fairy-tale lyrics is a very interesting choice. Caroline Polachek, who is the voice and the mastermind of the record, spent her childhood in Connecticut horse riding and bee and wasp cataloguing. With a childhood like from Wes Anderson's movies, her creative music talent seems to be of no surprise. She wrote a song for Beyonce and was one of the vocals on the last Blood Orange's record.

I really love Claire Vivier's boutique on Elizabeth street in New York and Matilde Tote both for its size, lightness and beautiful Summer colors is a perfect companion for long weekend city walks.

If you are looking for comfortable and stylish shoes, Ted Baker - Tabbey Leather Strap Sandal with white croc-effect patent leather and gold elements can take you straight from city hub to the party on the beach.

Each change of seasons is a hunt for new fragrance for me. I like matching the scent with my association of a given time of the year. For Spring , I discovered Mac - Turquatic Perfume, which with its anemone, cedar, lotus aroma just manifests Spring in bloom.

Finally, the perfect place to dine or have brunch in the weekend is a beautifully designed The Musket RoomThe New Zealand inspired, pretty and very tasty dishes complement the beauty of the interiors  flawlessly.
